This morning started off with clotted cream strawberries and waffles. I’ve heard about clotted cream but have never tried it. It reminds me of very creamy whipped butter. Thanks Sue, it was so thoughtful to get me gluten free waffles and so yummy.

Explored the town of Rainhill today, saw where both John and Sue grew up. Met up for coffee with Johns sister Cathleen and her husband Phil.

We saw the most beautiful cherry blossom trees with their beautiful pink petals falling on the ground. It looked like pink hail.

Enjoyed meeting John and Sue’s son Graham and having a fun supper also got to check another thing of my to try list. We had fish and chips with mushy peas for supper. The mushy peas were surprisingly very tasty.
