Took the Stena line ferry from Liverpool to Belfast today. We booked into the plus lounge. It cost a bit more but it was 9 hours on the ferry. You had access to all

Morning snacks included pastries, fruit, yogurt parfaits, and granola bars,. Lunch snacks were marinated olives, cheese, veggies and hummus and a selection of cakes. There was even a gluten free one.

The ferry had a games room, slot machines and 2 theaters. Very clean and the staff were so friendly and willing to help with anything. We went up on deck, saw many jellyfish floating in the water. Putting aside the fact the sea is so cold I don’t think anyone would want to swim with the amount of jellyfish we saw. It was a bit musty so we didn’t get a great view of Isle of Mann but that didn’t stop Reg’s enthusiasm
Once we docked we took a taxi to our hotel in central Belfast. We grabbed a bit to eat and listen to a bit of Irish music then called it a night.
