Mark picked us up and toured us around the countryside. He showed us the gram he grew up on, farm houses that dated back to the 1600s and the emerald green rolling hills laced with moss covered stone walls.

He drove us past his mom’s house. It was on the route of the temple 100 road race that started in 1921, 69 races was run on this road. The last was run in 1999 after a local boy ( a friend of Marks) was killed. We stopped at the memorial near the road course.

We met up with family at a quaint restaurant then went and visited with a family that own sheep.
