We drove through the lush green countryside to the town of Beleek. We had a picnic lunch in the little park by the river and then went on the factory tour. It is the longest running factory in Ireland.
The work that goes into making Beleek pottery is amazing. One basket weave piece can take up to a week to make. If there are any slight imperfects in a piece , the piece is broken and never sold. The broken pottery is then shipped out to be added to the material to fill potholes.

I could have bought the whole store. 😂
We headed to our accommodation for the evening, relaxed by the lake watching a couple swans swim on the calm waters. Had a very nice supper at the lodge restaurant and before having an early night.
