The first stop of the day was the Ulster American historic museum. Our journey started with how people lived in Ireland before the potato famine and how it affected the emigration of the Irish. I didn’t realize that the landlords often paid for a family that rented their land boat passage. The landlords had to pay taxes on each person that was living on their land so it was cheaper for them to pay to get them out of Ireland. You followed the path through the boat they would have sailed through exiting into the new world. The rest of the village was very similar to Fort Edmonton Park.

Next stop was Marble Arch Canyon caves. Reg went on the tour. I skipped out as it was 184 stairs. I kept we my cousin company and enjoyed the little lambs.
