We spent a day and half in Belfast. We did the final few things that we didn’t get a chance to do with Mark. We walked to Queen’s University to the botanical gardens, wondered through an old Victorian greenhouse and walked around the beautiful park.

We did a 1 hour black taxi tour to learn the history of Irelands Troubles. We saw the mural depicting both sides of the conflict, the peace walls ( there are approximately 60 walls. ). There are still 3 gates that get locked in the evening and opened again in the morning. There is a gate on the Protestant and one on the Catholic side with a buffer in the middle. To try and prevent future conflicts they are trying to have integrated schools. So many people have list their lives to this conflict.

I also got to meet 3 very friendly gentleman. One named Oscar, one named Frank and a 3rd I didn’t get his name. Their humans were also friendly
