We arrived at Isle of Man today, the ferry ride was a little rocky but not bad. I honestly can say I have never seen so much bike gear in one place and when all the bikes on the ferry started up you could feel the floor vibrate. It’s been raining on and off today and the forecast isn’t great for the week. Hopefully the weather gods are kind and it doesn’t rain for the races. We go to a vip area tomorrow to watch the practice and qualifying laps so at least we will have somewhere dry to hang out in if it rains. Went for a swim after supper and are enjoying our deck that overlooks the atrium. They have a couple water fountains going so it’s very peaceful.

Now for the disaster at home. The dishwasher sprung a leak but it must have been leaking for over a month because when the boys pulled the dishwasher out they discovered the whole kitchen floor was wet under the Lino. They are currently having to remove everything out of the kitchen, dry the floor , check for water damage in the basement. All hands are on deck trying to dry it out and clean it up. They had to pull the finer floor Lino off. It is out on the deck drying and now they have to deal with the inside. Reg’s dad is going to help them get some of it sorted. I feel very bad that we are on vacation and they have such a huge mess.

The glue is all wet, not sure how they are going to deal with that. Once again I wish it didn’t happen while we were gone.
