Today started out very rainy. We were going on a bus tour of the track with one on the riders. We were given the wrong address in the email so we walked all over trying to find it. Ended up finding someone to give us directions. It was a 30 minute walk from where we were at and we only had 20 minutes to get there so I ended up heading back to the hotel while Reg ran to catch the bus. He made it in time so he got to drive around the whole course which is 37.7 miles long and listen to the rider explain how they get mentally prepared for the race.

There is about 260 corners on the course that the riders need to remember and prepare for how much lean and speed to take them at. They can reach speeds of 200 km per hour with top speed being 219 km./hr.

Next stop of the day for Reg was the grandstands at the pit area. The rain held out so they got to make up the qualifiers they missed the day before. He walked around the fan zone area , looked at so many bikes then watch the races for just over 3 hours.

once he got back we went out for daiquiris. They were massive but so good .
