We went to Edinburgh today to see the Edinburgh Castle, The Royal Mile, The Princess Gardens, and the place I have been looking so forward to -The Frankenstein Pub. Finding parking in the city seemed to be difficult so we opted to do a park and ride outside the city. The bus ride to city center was 45 minutes. It was wonderful, the bus comes every 15 minutes, the parking at the park and ride is free and the bus fare was 2.20 pounds one way. It dropped us off right across from the castle ajacent to the Princess Gardens.
We decided to not go inside the castle as it was $33 per person and it was so busy. We have seen several castles on this trip

We ordered a purple monster martini. It had purple glitter in it so when you stirred it, it gave a galaxy like effect. It was such a fun and well decorated pub. I think we are going to have to have a Frankenstein party when we get home just so I can have an excuse to make the drink.
