Today we got a slow start, we went to see an old fort. It was a little walk up to it but the views were incredible. It dates back to about 1200 AD. We met a local that said to get fresh water to the castle they dug a deep hole and then filled it with sand. When the tide came up the sand would filter the water and they would have clean drinking water in the center of the fort. It is fascinating the ingenuity of people during that time.

After doing a bit off shopping at the outlet mall we had supper at our condo then the adventures began. We were watching tv when Reg saw one mouse in the center of the floor and another one coming out from the cupboard. Both mice went back in the cupboard before Reg got them with the broom. He stood watch for a bit and then plugged the hole the best he could. I called the condo manager but he didn’t answer.

The next morning the owners son came and set traps, he had no idea how to work them so Reg ended up helping him.
