We moved to Inverness on Sunday stopping by at the Highland Chocolate for another brownie and hot chocolate. Our apartment in Inverness has a great view of the river and is within walking distance of downtown.

On Monday we checked out the Victorian Market. After the market we went on the coast to an area that often has dolphins near the shore. It was extremely windy but we did see the dolphins. The come in to feed on the salmon.

Monday night ended with us going to a pub that had live music and a demonstration on how to wear a kilt, the history with clan tartan and the weapons used by the Scottish in the battle for their independence.

Today we went on the search for Nessy. Our first stop was the visitor center. It was an interactive exhibit. We walked through rooms that told the story of how the tales of the Lockness monster got started , some rooms were like caves, or the bar and dining room of the original hotel on the lock. The videos and interactive digital activities made it very interesting. Our next stop was a boat trip on the Lockness where we got a drive by view of ancient castle ruins.
