Yesterday the 24th we stayed near the Edinburgh airport as we had an early flight this morning. We stayed at the Lost Shores Surf Resort. It is a large resort that has 2 large wave pools. Surf teams train there, they offer surf lessons and hold competitions. We were there for the last day of the Highlands Surf Competition. We stayed in a pod right by one of the pools.

Today we flew to Greece. Very hot when we got off the plane. Plus 39. Going to have to get used to it quick as it’s going to be very hot for the next week. We are staying close to the airport for tonight then will head back to the airport tomorrow to meet up with Edlynn, Mike and their kids. We are spending a week on two islands then another week on Athens. It should be a fun filled 2 weeks as there is 9 of us and Reg is done with the driving. He kind of relieved as the roads have been a bit much some places. However shout out to him. Got the rental car back without a scratch and he drove a total of 2500 kms in Scotland. We fly home on July 11th. It will be nice to get back to everyone, the dogs and our own bed.

Now that’s it’s cooled off some we are going to enjoy our supper and the court yard this evening.
