Greece was under an extreme heat warning the week we were in Athens. All I can say is thank goodness for A/C.

Our air B&B was just below the Acropolis. We had an amazing view of it literally up at night from our roof top balcony .

We took a bus tour to Sparta and Mystras. It was 42 degrees so part of our group opted out of the 2 hour hike. We hung out in the town square. We had a little snack. I finally got to try the stuffed grape leaves and Tiana had fried cheese.

The rest of the week consisted of wondering through markets, having gelato, checking out the Acropolis museum and getting tattoos. 7 of us each got one done. They had nenotattoo artists that we all got done at the same time.

We had such an amazing holiday, experienced so much and met some wonderful people along the way. It’s hard to believe we were gone 4 months the time flew by. Thursday night we started our homeward journey. It was 27 hours start to finish. We got back home and celebrated Jayden’s and Kylas birthday.,now back to reality and get caught up.
