Our rental car pick up was supposed to be the airport so we could avoid driving down town but wouldn’t you know they changed it to downtown. We did not bad, drove down the bike path for 100 metres, gave google maps a slight headache re routing us, and had to drive down the tram tracks for half a block but we made it to our Air B&B in Hazerswoude-Dorp. It is so cute and in the most charming little town. We are 1 block from an old windmill that grinds grain on Saturdays. There is a resident cat, a few chickens, a Swedish sauna and a covered patio area in the garden.

We went grocery shopping after we settled in, way cheaper than eating out. Got enough for 2 weeks for what 3 meals out would have cost. They have these boxes in the grocery stores like Hello Fresh so there is no waste. We got a curry lentil soup one for tonight. It was so good.

Ended the evening with some TV and our nightly cheese tasting. We have a few to go. It’s like a game of name that cheese as none of them are labeled.
Just in case our kids think Reg is only meticulous checking our vehicles, he made sure all fluids were good to go on the rental car
Tomorrow we are going to check out the town and take some pictures. Driving in today we saw swans swimming in the dikes and so many cute houses.
Forgot to say I found gluten free Stroop waffles, I’m excited to try one after it warms over a hot cup of tea.
