On Saturday we headed towards the south. We stopped at a farmers market and then stopped for groceries. We got everything unloaded on the conveyor belt, the young man was about to start scanning when the power went out. We had to leave everything behind and go to another store 30 minutes down the road.

Checked into our Air B&B. It is just south of Galway in the Burren area. That is the view from our patio.
Today we stopped at the Hazel Mountain Chocolate Factory. Had a piece of gluten free cake, tried a couple samples and did a little shopping.

20 minutes later our day took a turn for the worse . The roads are extremely curvy and narrow, there is no place to stop if you have a problem. We hit a pot hole and got a flat tire, we pulled off in someone’s yard. Call our road side assistance for the rental car however because we rented in Northern Ireland and was in the south they don’t provide any assistance. We paid a fee to take it to Southern Ireland and paid almost $500 extra insurance but we are on our own. Our Air B&B host will call a tire service tomorrow morning for us as the tire is completely flat. I contacted the ferry company for Inis Mor as we had reservations for 8;30 tomorrow morning but they were very accommodating and rescheduled us for the next day.

On the plus side the area is so picturesque. Hopefully they can fix the tire in the morning and we can get back to exploring.
